Starting programs from the CD-ROM

I'm using Windows Me and when I try to load a program from any cd, i get the error that the dirapi.dll caused an error. any help out there?

Macromedia flash , this file is related to that prog.ring any bells?? when loading prog. from CD , check first if macromedia can be disabled.

its a long shot dude, is Macromedia flash your default player?do you have any other plyr?? have only used it a few times hence not very familiar with it. if it has any settings for default , remove and then see if it works.
