had a startup prob,it would shut off when loading I went to misconfig & un checked vpm=ativm6xx.dll under system.ini & drivers. works ok now but what do I do with this unchecked vpm=ativm6xx.dll to repair it or what?

ok turns on ok now -but dosent read boot disk when typed scandisk/all what do I load to get this right it makes me type something else to get to scandisk with the me boot disk. also my audio wave files are looking for a program to run them
