now do you adjust the startup and shutdown screens in Win ME? Thanks, not to too sure about the steps..there is something that keeps on appearing I want to get rid of
If you want to get rid of the custom startup splash search for logo.sys and delete it. If you want to get rid of a custom shutdown splash look for a logos.sys and delete it then look for a logos.bak or .old and rename it to logos.sys. You can open these with paint to verify which one is which.
My question for you is... What is it your trying to remove? Is it the screensaver? Background image?Startup-Shutdown splashes? Did you download a theme of some sort that changes all of these things?
1.Check add and remove programs for uninstall option. 2.Check whatever it is folder and see if an uninstall is available.
If that doesnt work try what i suggested in your previous post.
