hi, i have free grisoft for antivirus, free zone alarm for a firewall, yahoo messenger and lexmark printer, these are the only things that i have on my computer, and i was wondering what i need to have checked when i go to msconfig.. my computer starts a slow...

justin, there're a few items that MUST run at startup. Take a look at the list @:

Only items not on your list that I'd recommend are Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware for malware. They use different databases so I'd use both.
Spybot (get V1.2 or better)
