could some one tell me how to disable add hard ware program. it comes on when i start comp. i cant find add hardware in the start up window--or msconfig--thanks a lot

Linda, What exactly is coming on? Do you mean that as the PC is booting, a dialog box pops up stating that "New Hardware Has been detected and PC is searching for install software"? If that is the case, the PC is seeing something attached that is has not configured and is attempting to configure it. Does it give you any other indication of what it is trying to ADD?

hello goto your device manager by right clicking my computer,click properties and see if any thing has yellow check marks beside it.you might have to up date or reinstall drivers on some thing. have a nice day
