After reinstalling ME, I am tweaking it to my satisfaction. A couple things I need to do. How to get rid of the Documents from the start menu, and how to add the control panle to it. Thanks.

To get rid of the Documents entry on the Start Menu you simply write your own custom version of the Windows ME DLL module that creates the Start/Run menu. TweekUI might have an easier way to do it but I refuse to play with that program.

Then you could try creating a shortcut to the Control Panel folder and drag and drop it on the top of the Start menu.

The Control Panel should already be there...under settings.

Ok, I did it before but for the life of me, cannot find the info on how I done it. If I make a shortcut, it does not have the cascading menu. Not using TweakUI and don't plan to. I know its on Settings but I want it right ON the start menu because I use it often.

Create a shortcut and drop it into the quick launch menu.

Actually found what I needed on another site. Open both Cntrol Panel and Explorer. Create new folder in Start Menu folder. Drag any or all of the control panel applets into new folder. With 30 applets, it was nice to pick and choose the most used ones. Works perfectly.
