star button windows icon and taskbar desaper how do I get it back?

start butt0n for windows display desaper, they are gone, the same as oll taskbar icons and start menu windows are gone too. How can I do to get it back. There is not way for me to shut down the computer. Could you please Help me. This is an emergency

it happens sometimes.
But you can try this before you pull the plug.
Contol - alt - delete
press the windows key on the keyboard.
move the mouse to the bottom of the screen and see if you can pull it (taskbar) back up.
Change the resolution of the monitor (software and hardware)
Try loggin off and log back on.
PS this sometimes happens to me, windows still works but its annoying. If you need to get from one window to another try alt and tab, save your work and restart.
