Srchhook error

I keep getting the following error every time i turn pc on "srchhook has caused an error in if you continue experiencing problems please restart your pc" this is followed by a "runtime error at 00000001" it doesnt seem to affect me in any way except that it's annoying how do i get rid of it? Any help appreciated.

hello i did some searching on your problem but found nothing. i think but cant prove it but it might be part of or afected by spy ware .so run ad-ware and see what it fineds you can get ad-ware anti spy ware removeing program free at www.download.com you should allso try and online scan at housecall anti virus and rule out a virus. and to help your computer run better try trevs m.e tricks http://computing.net/windowsme/wwwboard/forum/18106.html how 2 run m.e well ver.3

Thanx for that. I already use Adaware but didn't think to run a check with it as thought it was a Windows error. Seems it was something to do with Cracked-Earth. Anyway it has now been banished so once again thanx
