I ran Spybot and got O hits. Ran Lava Adaware and got 6 hits. Ran a trial Spydr and got 282 hits. Why the big differance and why are the two programs missing so many problems?

I recently ran a scandisc and a window popped up that said " 171802624 bytes in hidden files". What are hidden files and is that amount of bytes normal?

If you mean SpyDoctor - - note the phrase "false positives work as goad to purchase"

What that means is that it finds things that just aren't there to convince you that it's "better"

A sucker game - seems to have the desired effect though, by swaying the unwary

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
