My right speaker doesn't work but the problem is with the system and not the speaker itself. I have checked all the volume left/right balances on the computer but they all seem to be ok. Any ideas where the problem might be? The sound software is Soundblaster Live.

thanks but I have levelled every volume balance I can find and still no result. Anyone ever heard of a bug doing something like this? I have tried re installing the soundblaster program but that doesn't help.

It could be the 'jack' on the soundcard or, the soundcard itself (loose solder, chip, ect.). The soundcard might even be loose in it's slot.
Is this a new problem? What I mean is, has this worked before, and now you are having problems. Or, you installed it, and you are having these problems.

It worked before grand, its only a relatively recent problem. I've checked the sound card but it doesn't seem to have any thing to do it with it.
