sound with C-it camera?

Is there a way I can use my microphone to get sound with my C-it camera. I can't find it in the C-it READ ME.

When you say "use your mic" your saying that you have a mic that is not attached to the C-IT USB camera.. is that correct?

If so.. your mic should operate independantly from the camera. Make sure the mic is connected to the PC. Do you know how to open up the sound mixer? Do you see a tiny speaker icon in the system tray (area near the clock with the tiny icons)? Use that icon to open the sound mixer and make sure the MIC is not muted and the volume is turned up.

How would I attach it to the C-it camera so that if I make a video the sund will be with it anytime I open that video in the C-it album? The mike works . It is connected to the PC.

Ok.. so we know that the mic works now and it is connected to the computer.

I am not familiar with the software you are using to create videos but hopefully i can help get you on your way.

You may need to look around in the file menu of the software you use. See if you can find settings that have something to do with the mic.

I use Debut to record videos. When the software is open i click Options from the file menu and i am able to choose my mic as a sound device. I assume your software has something similar in the file menu.
