I have a problem when trying to record sounds from MP3 files or any other sounds from anything for that matter into WAV files with Windows Sound recorder in that all I get is a very low hiss noise and nothing is recorded. What can I do to fix this?
I believe my sound drivers are installed properly and are just fine.
My sound card according to the system properties is:
Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) (WDM)
Device type: Sound, video and game controllers
Manufacturer: Creative Techology Ltd.
Hardware version: 009It's drivers are ES1371MP.SYS, VMM32.VXD (NTKERN.VXD) and MMDEVLDR.VXD
File version: 4.90.2490.1
The drivers are up to date according to the "Update driver" function.
Thanks,
