hi, you guys seem good at this so am asking here.
For the past few days my computer has had problems with it's sound. I cant listen to music or hear sound from videos on it. When ever i restart my computer i will temporarily have my sound back, but then after a few minutes it loses the sound. i can still get basic beeping noises if i do something like hitting three keys at the same time though.
Anybody know what the deal is?

OS: Windows XP??
right click on my computer, and go to properties. click on the hardware tab, then device manager. Any red question marks or yellow exclamation points?larry

When i click on it and go into its properties there is a message saying "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"
