Hello! First of all, I apologize if I posted this problem on the wrong forum. Anyway, here's the problem: Whenever i run some specific games the sound plays for a very short while and then dies. This also causes the sound not to work under windows or in any program for that matter. I have a K7S5A motherboard with a SIS7012 sound chipset. I suspect that the problem resides in the motherboard, since it was disassembled an reassembled lately. Thanks in advance!

I ran dxdiag, updated my drivers, but the problem was still there. The sound dies under certain programs and it stays dead until I reboot my computer. Thanks anyway, chris :) Any other suggestions?
