Well this is really annoying ... i get a problem of blue screen only on Baldur's Gate 2, Baldur's Gate and i can't recall if i had it with Icewind Dale .... i don't get any other sort of error on other games ... i decided to turn sound off on the games and i can play them fine and the error doesn't show up ... so it HAS to be a sound problem that's making some trouble there .... or maybe my onboard sound has some problems with the Infinity Engine ... help please!!! thank you!

tell me if you need more info on thisError
Fatal Exception OE in bla bla NTKERN (01) and bla bla bla ...
Let's see when i first installed ME i had the VMM blue errors, so i updated the video card and copied the eight .vxd's to the system folder ... that took away most of the VMM blue screens or other types ... then i started having this error every 5 minutes or so around playing the game ... so i went to soyousa.com and looked for updates either to the sound or any related ... i end up in viatech.com and installing the latest via 4 in 1 pack and the viasound120 one ... the southbridge and northbridge and where its a via sound onboard or not you can check it in the link above with the mother's specs ... so i installed those files but the error kept on ... so i went to forums.bioware.com had more chat there and i disabled the sound in the game and the game worked without errors, but hey! what's the fun of playing a game without music ... so they told me maybe its a glitch with infinity engine or who knows .... had some e-mails "sessions" with a bioware tech guy, telling me obvious stuff like update video card bla bla, stuff i'd already done plus a few more but minor, and still he ended up telling me sorry i couldn't help you w/ the problem ... so now i'm trying in every forum ... i'll prob end up installing Windows XP later ... but for now i have ME ... so this is the only error i get from anything in Windows ME .... CAN YOU HELP ME?
p.s. any more info you need just write it up ...
