My sound has suddenly stopped working. When I check the volume through contol panel/sound it will not let me move the toggle to the right. When I try to adjust the volume via the start menu/accessories/entertainment nothing happens when I click volume. I don't know what to do . . . Thanks, BrianB913@aol.com

Brian is there a chance that you somehow knocked the sound card loose? Just before this condition started did you: -do any downloading? -load or download a new radio player? -been messing with Kazaa? You have AOL. My experience with AOL tells me there is at least a 50/50 chance it is AOL if you have downloaded a player or radio station that is not AOl subscribed...one of the reasons I got out of AOL, only one of. . . Recheck control panel > sounds and media and go through the sounds and voice tabs, 'volume' and 'advanced' options and see if the settings are at "full" and good" in both of them.
