Any idea on how to get the sound to work on my computer? It hasn't worked since I re-set it up. It worked fine, then I had to move it. I reconnected every thing twice. It only hooks up one way, so I have to be doing it right. When I turn the dial on, it hums, so I know it is getting power. The volumn controls are set correctly on the software. Any ideas?

I realize there is only one way to hook up your sound system, but could you have plugged your speakers into the Microphone jack? I've done that. If this doesn't fix the problem then click on Start, Help and find the Troubleshooter section. Select Sound and walk through the list of questions and you should find the problem. Good luck!

A hum usually means you plugged it into the wrong plug.

duh, there were two completely differant sets of inputs. I tried the correct ones and it worked, go figure. Thx to all who helped. (This is someone elses computer that they disconnected. I am not a genious, but if I originally set it up I would have had a better chance of not goofing it up)
