Three things you can try,, system restore back to before he did the cleaning, or use the device manager to remove the sound card and re-boot to see if windows will re-install the drivers, or find the drivers at the Manf's web site.

Actually, I think I might have found it. Is it under the "sounds and multimedia" then devices? If so, i see something that reads, "Unimodem Half Duplex Wave Device".
Is this what I want??

Thank you very much!!!!!!

If you only have one listing - the Unimodem device, then you haave removed your soundcard. You can leave the modem alone, just in case you haven't got the drivers for it, then reboot & see if a soundcard is detected - it should come up with a 'found new hardware' message. If not, go back into Device Manager & see if there are any asterisks showing or unknown hardware. If there are then you need to be able to identify your soundcard & you'll either have a driver disk somewhere or you can download them. If nothing is listed then you may have a hardware problem. Post back after trying above.
