Ok, I'm getting an error message after I have opened Musicmatch Jukebox and pic a song to listen to from my file. I tis giving me a "sound card problem" "WaveOut format not supported"
I went into device manager and pulled up the sound card and installed the driver for my sound card which is a: Creative audio PCI(ES1371,ES1373)(WDM) I put my cd for device drivers in and I just kept getting that the driver that is already installed is the best one for the sound card. Any ideas to get sound on my pc again? Thanks!

hey bryan....its not ur sound card it's a software problem... waveout format is not supported that probably means you need to find the plugin required to play the audio file format.... is it mp3...try playing it any other player like winamp n if it works try reinstalling MMJB

Now this is strange. I went and got one of my music cd's and put it in the cd rom. Music match pulled up and actually played. Strange. I then went and opened up windows media player and clicked on cd audio and all the tracks pulled up but I got an error message of: cannot play back the audio stream: no audio hardware is available, or the hardware is not responding. Hmmmmm. I then opened up my shared folder for Kazaa (hope you guys know of Kazaa) shich has all my music in the shared folder and I clicked on a song and music match pulled up and I got the same message as in my original post in this thread. I'm at my wits end here. I can play a cd in the cd rom using music match jukebox, but I can't play music from my shared folder and in Windows media player. BTW I think my edition of musicmatch came with Kazaa.

Have you gne into the control panel, folder options ,file types and check the windows file associations ? Check which program is associated with the WAV format .While in there you can pick which program plays certain formats ! Good Luck ,Nick
