Sound Card Problem

It seems that I may have shorted out my sound card. I have the soundblaster live. The green plug in the back used to work but i think when i plugged things in there it could have shorted it out. THe microphone input works as well as the black sound plug. I cant get surround sound working on it. Another thing is my comp has been playing games and it stalls every few seconds. I get nice fps and such before the problem. Would this be caused by my 256mb ram which i run low on or is it the vid card.

Sounds like a synch.problem.When you boot up go to CMOS by hitting "Delete" or "F2".Look for Enable Soundblaster/Legacy.If that doesn't help move soundcard to another PCI slot and reinstall drivers.
