Sound Card Failure - Error Message at Start

Upon booting I get the following message:
PersFwDrv: FwDrProtGetMediumConnected: FwDrProtOpenAdapter error

with the typical "OK" box to click. Once I click the OK box the boot completes but I have no sound card. Don't know much about what is going on at the start up. PentiumIII 850MHz, 256Ram, Windows ME. Soundblaster card

Look in system properties for problem devices. You may have an IRQ problem.
