I just bought my computer 2 months ago.I am using Athlon 900 MHz, 128 MB RAM, Windows Me. Something really annoying happens when I play music on my computer. The sound keeps breaking up in the middle, especially when I am trying to use other applications while listening to music. Can anyone please tell me what could be the problem?

The problem is that the sound card is sharing an irq with something else. In order to change the irq, you will have to move the card into a different slot.

it's just the memory being used by the other application. so while playing music the sound might stuff up for a few seconds.
