Comment:

I have a Sony F630 notebook and I was
wondering if it is possible for me to set a
BIOS password? I'm looking for MAXIMUM
security for my computer.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks!

If you go into your BIOS, you should be able to set a password there...just look through the vailable options and you should find it...just look at the screen on bootup, there should be a line that says press F2 to enter setup or press DEL to enter setup.

My F-680 uses the [F2] key - which must be pressed WHILE the "Sony" logo is on the screen at boot... and yes, you can set a power-on password...
