Hi, I recently sent a large attachment (16mbs), using Foxmail; and right after it was gone a window opened saying something to the effect that the SMPT server had refused it because it exceeded it's size limit. Can I tell from this message whether it was my ISP's server, or the recipient's server, that refused the message? Thanks, John
You should be able to tell by looking at the message, where it came from. Look at the detailed header information. If it's from the SMTP server, then it's the sending account server that's rejected the message. Can't you view the Help or Faqs on the foxmail website?
Thanks Jennifer, I tried a couple more mails, sending them to myself and reducing their sizes; and found that I can't send anything over 6mbs. So I guess that's the upper limit. Thanks again, John
