I'm sorry I can't be more general than this but: IT'S SLOW! I haven't done anything to it. It just started. Does anyone have some general tips for speeding it up???

Hey-Andy! Lemme tell you - "LOAD-UP" on the MOST (& fastest), RAM your proc. can use! When I first got a comp., I thought I was "top-dawg" w/ 256MB SD-RAM. Hell... today, THAT'S-NOTHING!!! I run NAV, AD-AWARE, SYGATE F-WALL, & AD-SUBTRACT @ startup. 256MB didn't BEGIN to measure-up, so... went to Crucial, & stuck ANOTHER 256MB#2700 RAM into it (#512MB Total). Now, it's a LOT better. Still... if I had MY way, this would be up to 1,024 MB's!!! Here's where to start! Good-luck! DAVE
