Hi all,
Hoping you can help me solve this problem, a teacher friend of mine is having with her HP puter. Shes running WIN ME. (UGH IKNOW)as far as I know, from what she has told me she didnt install anything new, no new downloads, no new upgrades, nothing! and she comes to do her assignemnt sheets and gets and error message " SHLAWAPI.DLL has created an error in IEXPLORE. IF CONTINUES PLEASE REBOOT COMPUTER" which of course tried NO LUCK. tried to do a restore, no such luck, cannot get into any program, cant get into control panel, but can get into MSCONFIG through run. She only has the HP RESTORE DISK which doesnt have the TRUE copy of me on it. AND SHE if can help it doesnt want to lose her school work info, which she did not back up. Is there anyway I can go into DOS, AND BACK THAT INFO UP FOR HER JUST IN CASE WORSE COMES TO WORSE? THANKS ALL
