Hi everyone, Is it possible to share a folder or directory over the Internet. To make it more clear, my computer is not networked, but it is connected to the Internet. I was wondering if anyone can access the shared folder if I give them my IP address, folder name , and password to access the folder. Thanks

You have to have some sort of software or some kind of ftp server. Just put the items you want to share in an ftp and give your friend the ftp address.
Or you can always use software like morpheous or something like that and share the folder that you want the other person to have and just meet up in some chat room.
Or post your IP here and download and install the current version of subseven and share them with the world. :) the safest way to share files with others in my opinion is to get yourself some web space, upload the file or files and give the receiving party the url. MSN communities is free and allows you to give access to individuals you have granted permission to the files via "passport" basicaly a hotmail account. You can use this to access your address books, images, music files etc.
