Well, I've managed to get myself in a bind agian.
To make a long story short...I'm currently able to share files on both of my computers, I can see both PCs in My Networking Places<--YES I'm running winMe on both computers..basicaly lets just say my OLD PC is "computera" and my new PC is "Bcomputer"

Bcomputer is the "server" or the one I've run the Network connection wizard on FIRST, and then I ran it on computera...
I can share files NO problem...my problem is that Im unable to get computera(old PC) to get my browser to connect to the Internet.

I've run the internet setup for Internet Explorer and this hasnt seemed to help..tried the help files and that was almost laughable...
Basicaly I think I've managed to "Toy" with the protocols and settings so much that I may just have a configuration problem, or perhaps a missing protocol or something along those lines
If anyone can help me troubleshoot this I'd sure appreciate it.

The Pc i'm having troubles with is a cybermax 500 mghz 64megs of ram, Internet Exporer ver 5.50, standard 10/100 fast ethernet card(real tek)I have a green light on the NIC(and I'm still sharing files)

My new PC is pretty much twice the old pc and not from cybermax, but the specs are doubled ..and it seems to be running fine, however Im not about to say that it doesnt need any configuring to get my INternet running on my other pc...???

if you have any suggestions, I'd sure be willing to try them out and be very appreciative,
