Have 3 computers connected by Linksys hub. one is down, other 2= Win98 host, WinME client, file sharing is up and running, but when client tries to print to host Epson Stylus 500 printer, it shows a red X on printer. Any suggestions? Thanks. Have set IP addresses in network control panel, full sharing, passwords, everything.

You maybe have to update the drivers for your printer. Just click on device manager and then double click on your printer, and shoose update driver, and while you are there check to see that there is no hardware conflicts.

Hope this helps.

Reinstalled my own printer this morning but noticed it gave me the option of being able to monitor the printer from other shared pc's so make sure when you run the Epson install program that you allow this. That should help.
