I use some dos programs like backup.exe and need setver.exe loaded in a config.sys file. ME deletes the contents of config.sys at boot, is there a way around this? The windows help instructs you to use config.sys and setver will work to change the version, but must be loaded at boot to work. Thanks

I believe you need to use a boot disk for those programs.
