I've looked at this from all sides, can't get it worked out. My Windows Explorer in ME always opens in a collapsed view. i have to double-click My Computer blah blah blah. What is the magic secret to opening explorer with the full view of my C: drive directories like i used to have in 98SE? Obliged, Paul in Frankfurt

This worked for me: Right click the Windows Explorer icon, click Properties, in the Target box you will probably find "c:\\windows\Explorer" just add a space and "c:"
