I think that win ME doesn't support ANY tape
drive. I have a new HP SCSI backup tape drive and
I don't know how to overcome the problem.

Please inform me if you solved the problem.

I had a similar problem with a Seagate DAT
drive. I found that you have to access the Win ME CD-ROM directly and install the "MS-Backup" program. After you do this, Win ME should see your tape drive and load a suitable driver. Wierd Huh?
