Hi, I want to install an sd card reader so that I can read my camera's memory. It seem like they mostly hook up to the USB ports. I'm pretty sure mine is version 1.1, but most of the card readers seem to need USB 2.0 or later. Will they work on my 1.1 version port? Thaks, ....... john

A USB 2.0 card reader will work on a computer that only has USB 1.1, It will be restricted to USB 1.1 speed. The bigger issue will be finding a card reader that will work with Windows ME. Not too many come with drivers required for versions of Windows prior to Windows XP.
