I have a scanjet 6200C that worked sporadically before in ME but now will not work at all. It starts then stops. The green button will not work at all and the scanner checks out fine on troubleshooting. I have tried every thing HP suggests but nothing works. Any help.

have got the latest drivers for your scanner?? check device manager , see if there is a yellow exclamation mark against it. select and delete scanner from device manager , restart and let PC detect it again. do u get any error messages?? if nothing works try a reinstall.

I have downloaded the latest drivers/software listed on the hp site. Everything says it is installed correctly. I read and tried everything Hp suggested on their site. Deleting usb reg. then letting the system recognize it again. Checking for folders, deleting the program and reinstalling it, unplugging power and usb reconnecting, nothing. It still doesn't work. I got it to copy only if you don't use the scanner software and you have to do it by pushing the green button which I got to work when I did not associate the green button with the scanner software in setup. The rest of the scanner is useless and I need it.
