Scandisk Runs on Every Restart!!!

Every time I restart my computer Scandisk runs automatically. Further, it can't complete it's operation. It just runs forever until I close it. Then everything's fine. Any hints why and how to fix?

I'm not totally sure, but I'm guessing it was trying to run due to an improper shutdown, and since it never completes, it continues to try every time. You might want to try going into Safe Mode and running it from there, where it should complete successfully, then restart normally and see what happens.
