i have been having problems with windows me, so tried to scan disk and restore and neither will work.
have closed down all programs but would appear to be something still running in background!! i am mystified!!!!

Try in safe mode and/or use enditall.

But if he tries in safe mode,he won't need to.Although I was also wondering what he did have running in the background too!!!

Wouldn't doubt it,but...if he's runs it in safe mode...lol...won't be a problem.But he should know both approaches if he doesn't already.Teamwork is great,isn't it?
