ScaDisk Doesnt work

Scandisk doesnt work on my computer - i have windows Me andtried to run scan disk the other day, but it stopped at about 50% and said that there was not enough free memory - the thing is i had closed all the programmes and only just started my computer when i tried to run it! pls help!!!

Clean up the registry using MS regcleaner.
run Disk Clean up first
and then run Scandisk.
Finally run Defrag.

hello regcleaner is not needed to run scandisk or defrag.but you can get it if you want. what you need to do is do scandisk from safe mode it will work just fine and do the same with defrag have a nice day
