I plan to change my OS from Me to Xp. How can I save my music without using a zillion CD's. My Music is from KaZaA (about 300 songs). Do I need a special program to do this? Thanks

You can save the files as MP3's and copy them to a blank CD-R. As MP3's the music files will take up much less space than saving them as music files. These MP3's will play on a PC and can be reloaded on to the PC after the up-grade. They will not play on a stereo but can be copied to the PC, converted to music files and copied back to a CD-r which will play in your stereo. It's a good idea to make back up copies of all the stuff you don't want to lose. I have fitted around 300 MP3's on to one 650MB CD-R. There are many programs that will let you do this... NERO www.nero.com CD Creator www.roxio.com You will find cheaper copies of these programs on www.ebay.com (if you are in the USA) or www.ebay.co.uk (if you live in Europe). For the above copying, you will also need a CD Writer drive, costing around £50 ($75).
