when trying to save a jpeg, computer only gives me the bitmap option as file type. It used to give me a whole bunch, now only just one....Bitmap. Please help

go to control panel/folder options/file types/new/ give the file extension you want for images like JPG, GIF, PNG,

Thanks, but did not work. Still will not save as Jpeg. I dont know if maybe one day i downloaded a file taht had a virus?
