I have IE6 when I recently updated from IE5.5 because whenever my daughter goes online she likes to go to Disney and Nickalodeon sites and vulgar/inhumane porn sites pop-up and cannot get them to go away (i.e. I X them out and 5 more pop up until I just have to restart the computer. I have tried Pop-up stopper and numerous other programs to keep this from happening even gotten COOKIES and TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES cleaner programs that didn't work. Now my daughter can't visit her favorite sites or play online games. WHAT IS HAPPENING!!?? PLEASE ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

you'll jsut have to keeping closing them, a faster way is to press alt.+ f4 to close them, also, set pop-up stopper to the highest setting, that'll stop any and ALL pop-ups

DO NOT DOWNLOAD SPYBOT, it has it's own little trail of spyware it leaves behind too! Get Ad-Ware, it is awesome!!!!!! http://tomcoyote.com/lsindex.html which is the main download link for the Ad-Ware which is a removal tool and very easy to use, it is awesome. Beware that alot of spyware is bundled with players and programs like audiogalaxy, kazaa...etc....and some are called, GAIN, GTE, 3DE, Gator, Weatherbug, Downloadware, Cydoor, Click2Win, etc......but kazaa will not work without Cydoor on your system and a lot of the other programs for running the games will no longer work, that is the purpose of spyware so they can get your attention. They are famous for popups of obscenity..... but after you remove those, you can also go to www.panicware.com and download the free popup stopper, this way only when you need a window to come up after you sign in somewhere's or to play the actual games, you will get the hang of when to decide to let it through, you just press down the CRTL key and let it pop up, the other pop ups wont' get by 99% of the time unless you have DOWNLOADWARE on your computer.
