same old defrag problem

CPU/Ram: AMD-K6/128RAM

I have a 10gb hard disc partitioned,c/system files=2gb & e/other files=8gb,recently bought a digital camera & mistakenly loaded software onto c drive-noticed this when message appeared-c drive space critically low-so dragged foler/files to e-drive + deleted in c,now unable to defrag e drive,id no defrag00205,scandisc does'nt find a problem??have tried safemode and still have same problem please help!!!

Browse to \Windows\Applog (hidden folder), and either
1. Find the file(s) that refers to your camera program, and delete it(them)
or
2. Select all of the files and delete them. In this case, Windows (Taskmon), will recreate the files, and start to re-collect the information in the files.

Have tried to access my Applog folder with no results - the files just not there,and yes i did include hidden files in my search does this mean i've got another problem now??still unable to defrag my e drive in safe or normal mode.HELP
