Anyone know where I can get a DirectX 8 compatible driver for my S3 ViRGE MX?
I've looked everywhere!
Even a tutorial on how to hack the drivers to make them DX8 compatible would be appreciated...

The only DirectX 8 cards out right now are the Radeon series and the GeForce 3 and 4. There wouldn't be any point in having DX8 drivers for a card that doesn't support any of those features.

been there done that.....old packard bell system and s3virge's don't support past Direct x 7, sorry
