hi..i know these posts are old.. I really need a copy of RUNDLL32 because i think mine is like infected with a trojan..and i get errors on startup taht say" RUNDLL32 has caused an error in KERNEL32...etc..etc." Also, I would like to clean up my registry because they adress several trojans which I deleted from the Windows directory, but are still adressed in the registry and hence bring up more errors on startup. I used to be able to do REGEDIT in the DOS prompt, but it no longer works..is there a program available? PLEASE EMAIL ME!

If you think RUNDLL32.exe is corrupted, you can restore it from the *.CAB install files using the RUN - MSCONFIG - Extract File tab, and it will restore a clean copy. But I doubt that RUNDLL32 is the problem. More likely, the DLL function being started by it.
As for Trojan removal, you should be removing them with good removal tools that remove them along with their Registry entries, not just deleting the programs.
