I would make sure you don't have a virus , these files don't normally dissappear . The Sircam virus was famous for modifying this file .

I have the same massage on my computer which has a windows ME , i had a virus , to the best of my knowldge i got rid of it by Norton anti-virus , but the computer completly changed it became slower and acting strange some time and displaying the massage of the rundll.32.exe every time it boots up . I also appreciate very much help from any one who reads the massage Thanks in advance

Hello I have the same problem , i had a virus which to the best of my knowledge , i got rid of using the Norton anti- virus , but the computer did not go back to it,s original shape , it became very slow and always displaying the massage rundll.32.exe everytime i start it , I also apprecaite very much help from anybody on the forum .
