Newdotnet is a virus no-dangerous...
click START,run, and type this...
rundll32 c:\windows\newdotnet3_21.dll,NewDotNetUninstall
leave a space between rundll32 and the following...
Restart and delete newdotnet in c/windows

New.Net... or NewDotNet should be in add/remove programs in the control panel.

Try there first.

heybesee - Interesting way to do an uninstall. I like it:)

Interesting way?
Is the ONE way...because NewDotNet don't appears in the control panel...It's not an application, but a DLL.
This is the dos mode by command line...

Absolutely not true.

4. How can I fully uninstall the New.net plug-in?

-------------

4. How can I fully uninstall the New.net plug-in?
To uninstall the application, please follow the steps below:

1. Click on Start.
2. Select Settings.
3. Click on Control Panel.
4. Double-click on the Add/Remove Programs icon.
5. Select the New.net Application.
6. Click on the Add/Remove button.
7. Once the program has uninstalled, click on the OK button.

After completing all of these steps, please reboot the computer. This will have removed the New.net application from your system.
The above steps will fully remove the New.net plug-in. However, the Windows operating system will retain a record that the New.net plug-in previously had been installed on your computer in "C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files." This file is harmless, but can be removed by following the steps below:

1. Click on Tools.
2. Click on Internet Options.
3. Under the General tab, click on the Settings button.
4. Within the Settings window, click on the View Objects button.
5. Within the Downloaded Program Files window, locate and delete Tldctl2c Class.
6. Close the Downloaded Program Files window.
7. Click on the OK button within the Settings window.
8. Click on the OK button within the Internet Options window.
9. Close Internet Explorer.

Oh... and here are the manual uninstall instructions from newdotnet in case the uninstaller fails:

http://new.chat.new.net/viewtopic.php?topic=673&forum=8&4

As you can see... just unregistering the *.dll file will not remove this insiduous piece of software from your machine. It is buried deep in the registry... including adding new parameters to your winsock2 key and registering itself with catalog files. This is the part of the program that really messes people up when they try to remove it. If the uninstaller does not go well, it will impede your ability to resolve names... so you will not be able to surf the net through qualified domain names anymore. Only through IP.

EVERYONE WANTS THE FREE SOFTWARE! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! DON'T DOWNLOAD ANYTHING YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT AND YOU REDUCE THE CHANCE OF GETTING SOMETHING YOU DON'T WANT! SAME THING APPLIES TO STD'S SLEEP WITH ANYONE, GOOD CHANCE OF CATCHING SOMETHING BAD, MARY ONE PERSON AND SLEEP WITH HIM/HER ONLY, ALMOST NO CHANCE OF CATCHING STD!

I tried to remove and seemed to be successful until I got to the add/remove programs. Then my rundll32 freezes up and comes up as "not responding". So I can't seem to remove the new.net application in this way. Anyone know what's going on as I still get the rundll error on startup. New.net just doesn't seem to disappear. I would appreciate any help on this one.

This is simply a missing .dll file. If you reinstall your operating system, this will fix your problem once and for all. A simple Ghost install will do.
