RUNDLL.32 problem

CPU/Ram: AMD Athlon XP 1800+/256

when I try to look at .jpegs on my computer this error message always comes up C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SHIMGVW.DLL what do I do I tryed restore and its not helping I even went back 1 month and still nothing

Sounds like it may be the Win32.Perrun.a Virus.

thanks jon that sight was helpful in telling me thats what I have but not very helpful in telling me how to get rid of it any suggestions

My Rundll was deleted also...I tried to download it from a recommened site, but it said something like "you may not have the appropriate permission to access the item." I am on Windows Me and do not have the startup disk. CAn anyone please help me by sending me a copy through email or something? BigPimpinA16@aol.com
