Every time the computer is finished booting I get this error - Error loading NVQTWK.DLL -
I believe it is a .dll for the graphics card. I have not noticed any abnormalities in the computer operation. This problem just surfaced after installing directX 8.1. Any ideas on fixes.

It is an NVidia dll for your graphics card and you may need to update it for Dx 8.1 - contact NVidia tech support and ask them.
