Here another this computer is giving me gray hairs i'm telling you.
I went to system restore in system tools and got the following message " rstrui has cause and error in kernel32.dll rstrui will now close again what is that i cant find nothing on it. Thanks so much all for all the help so far.
From the MS knowledge base, a good place to start when looking.

rstrui.exe is system restore it should be located in c:\windows\system\restore if it's missing or corrupted, click start-run-type in msconfig-click ok- click extract file-type in rstrui.exe-click start-in where to extract from, type in c:\windows\options\install in where to extract to, type in c:\windows\system\restore click ok.
