My friend has messed up his pc and his system restore does not work. I want to do a rollback of the registry, but I can't remember what to type in on the run command. Is it reg/restore and the 5 dates will come up to choose from? Please let me know... Thanks...Newguy

run the registry checker from the control panel. if it finds problems, it will ask you what you want to do. I think the direct command is scanreg /restore, but I'm not sure about whether the space is before or after the / HTH
