Plleeease help me, each time I right click on desktop icons or files and folders in Windows Explorer - my cursor locks to "system busy" and I lose all mouse and keyboard access. I must continually restart my 'puter. I have been to Microsoft support to no avail - their work-a-rounds do NOT work for me. Any ideas are welcomed. My Antivirus shows a clean system - SpyBot detects no malware - ZoneAlarm is removed from system.

Boot system in to Safe Mode (hold "Ctrl" key before initial Windows ME splash screen and select Safe Mode). Then do a REPAIR of Internet Explorer. This will repair a number of modules used by Explorer. To REPAIR IE 6.0, go to Control Panel, Add/Remove icon, and select (highlight) the entry for "Microsoft Internet Explorer ... and Internet Tools" and then click the Add/Remove button at the bottom of the window. On the options window, select the "Repair Internet Explorer" option and click OK. When it is done reboot the system.
If that does not fix the problem, it might be necessary to reload Windows ME over the top of itself to fix the damaged module.
